Laconic Containment Procedures: SCP-988 is to be kept in a locked room. No experiments with it are permitted.

Laconic Description: SCP-988 is an unopenable chest. Any attempt at opening it will be interrupted by external circumstances. When shaken, something can be heard inside. The contents of the chest can't be scanned, though, as any emissions targeted at it will be interrupted by similar external circumstances.
