Phenom #: 6001
Object Class: Esoteric / N/A
Laconic Modus: SCP-6001 has decided not to open communications with the baseline dimension, but to leave the doorway open in case they ever reach out.
Laconic Impiris: SCP-6001 is a keyhole-sized dimensional doorway in Tokyo between our dimension, A6K, and one where peace was unanimously achieved between all major and minor factions and governments, species and anomalies—which are called phenoms to avoid insensitivity—and have improved the quality of life drastically.
SCP-6001's A Plot is a transcription of events written by Caspian, who is taken on a tour of the alternate world by a talking cat, Primrose. It is revealed at the end of the story that Primrose and the Caspian of the alternate universe were friends until Caspian's untimely demise, and that is why Primrose, knowing that the vote may have ended in failure, chose to bring our Caspian through the wormhole for a day before he is returned.
The B Plot, depicted through a series of filled out ballots of varying length, is a vote on whether or not the alternate dimension will initiate contact with A6K. The groups voting are implied to be conglomerates of known GOI's, with the final vote being cast by their SCP Foundation.
Additional Context: SCP-6001 was an entry in the SCP-6000 Contest, where it won 4th place. The author had noted that the article was intended to contrast with SCP-5000, and has references to over a hundred other SCPs.
