SCP-5900

Item #: SCP-5900

Object Class: Pending

Laconic Containment Procedures: An investigation into the cause is ongoing.

Laconic Description: SCP-5900 was a 3-day-long total service failure of PANOPTICON, a global monitoring initiative produced by the Foundation consisting of millions of cameras, microphones, and sensors worldwide. Site-07 was primarily affected.

The Foundation had a multitude of measures in place, especially magic, with the chance of failure being a statistical near-impossibility.

It turns out that L.S., a prominent member of the Serpent's Hand performed a ritual and altered Site-07's magical information anchors, saying "The keys of knowledge belong to all. We will stop every tyrant who attempts to seize them."

Additional Context: SCP-5900 was an entry in the SCP-5000 Contest, where it won 34th place.
