Item #: SCP-4500
Object Class: Euclid
Laconic Containment Procedures: Destroy any appearances of SCP-4500 in public media immediately and erase the memories of anyone that knows about it. All documentation of SCP-4500 is to be kept in the form of a Socratic dialogue, rather than a regular SCP article.
Laconic Description: SCP-4500 is a room that transcends physical space and rose to the realm of Platonic Ideals. If you visit it, you will experience an “ideal conversation.” By talking or thinking about a certain thing, the exact identity of which is redacted in the article, all people involved are “mentally” transported to this room, where they experience their version of an “ideal conversation.”
Due to the nature of SCP-4500, the article is structured like a dialogue transcript between a narrator and the wiki user. If you are signed in with your Wikidot account, the narrator refers to you by your Wikidot username.
Additional Context: SCP-4500 was an entry in the SCP-4000 Contest, where it won 6th place, and has since been widely commended for its creative approach to adapting abstract philosophy to the SCP Universe.
