Object Class: Keter

Laconic Containment Procedures: Keep an eye out for SCP-4007-5. Cooperate with SCP-4007-4 to a limited degree and use him as an informational source on SCP-4007.

Laconic Description: A squad of 5 anomalous Japanese soldiers that all possessed extended lifespans, enhanced senses, and unique powers. Three are dead, one is alive, and one is missing.

  • SCP-4007-1 could shoot lightning out of his hands but was not immune to it himself.
  • SCP-4007-2 had bullet-proof skin.
  • SCP-4007-3 could compel anyone around him to believe anything he said.
  • SCP-4007-4 can turn invisible become temporarily antimemetic so viewers forget him.
  • SCP-4007-5 can shapeshift.

Initially the Foundation works with -4 to try and find -5, but finds a bunch of old documents and learns of a massive ritual sigil in the ocean off the coast of Malaysia, so large that whatever it is containing must also be massive. They realize that SCP-4007 may have actually been formed by the Japanese military to kill or contain the thing being contained by the ritual but note that the ritual is slowly failing. SCP-4007-4 may be the only one capable of stopping it all but they're not sure how; they lie and tell him they will continue to help search for -5, but now the Foundation's only goal is stopping whatever is locked away under the ocean.

Additional Context: SCP-4007 was an entry in the SCP-4000 Contest, where it won 28nd place.
