Item #: SCP-346
Object Class: Safe
Laconic Containment Procedures: SCP-346 is kept in a bird cage in Dr. Right's office. The cage has two water dishes, a scratching post topped with a nest made of moss, a floor of corn cob bedding, and toy bells for parakeets. The cage has to be restocked daily with water and several live crickets for SCP-346, and the bedding is replaced once every two weeks for cleaning.
Laconic Description: SCP-346 is a pterodactyl the size of a hummingbird. He acts like both birds and bats, eating small bugs and being mostly active at sunrise and sunset. A Foundation agent bought him from a Brazilian pet shop calling him a "Kongo-mato" (a cryptid from Zambia meaning "Breaker of Boats"), but he has since been named "Pterry".
