SCP-3066

Item #: SCP-3066

Object Class: Keter

Laconic Containment Procedures: A 500-meter surveillance perimeter has been created around SCP-3066.

Laconic Description: SCP-3066 is a log cabin near Linville Gorge, North Carolina that warps peoples perception of time within it. Below the cabin is a wine cellar, which contains a large borehole that goes down an unknown amount and has a passageway every 50 meters down. Nobody has ever returned from these passages.

At irregular intervals, or whenever someone enters one of the passageways, a blue fireball will erupt from somewhere in the surrounding mountains. This fireball is made from paper containing cognitohazards that cause those effected to draw on nearby surfaces using their bodily fluids.

Additional Context: SCP-3066 is based on the "Brown Mountain Lights" phenomenon.
