SCP-3004

Item #: SCP-3004

Laconic Containment Procedures: Different iterations of the article are provided, with the first one listing the object as Neutralized, saying it doesn't pose a threat anymore. The second iteration states the object is actually Keter and that all areas capable of hosting it are to be monitored and acted upon as needed.

Laconic Description: A hyperdimensional, cicada-like entity attempting to "harvest faith" to enter our dimension and take over. Brutal rituals performed by Christian institutions under the influence of SCP-3004 help the harvesting process. SCP-3004 believes it is the God of the Bible, although this is likely because Christianity is the closest surviving religion to SCP-3004's original cult following.

If it manages to manifest in our world the only method of stopping it would be to erase Christianity from the current world and historical record so as to cut off its supply of "faith."

Additional Context: SCP-3004 was an entry in the SCP-3000 Contest, and placed 20th.
