Aslam and Gupta and wearing fire proof suits. When SCP-2984 is asleep, people go in to replace the stuff it's burned up.

Laconic Description: SCP-2984 is a flaming Orangutan. It's on fire but it doesn't get hurt and it doesn't die. It can swim and the fire goes out in water, but it catches fire again once it's out of water.

The Orangutan was discovered after accidentally setting a big fire in Malaysia. Locals tried to kill it but it panicked and ran through some villages before they scared it off. Firefighters saw the Orangutan was on fire but still alive and someone called the Foundation so they came and lured the Orangutan with some free food to contain it.

Despite being on fire, it's a normal Orangutan. It knows it's on fire and tries not to set its food or toys on fire.
