SCP-2008

Item #: SCP-2008

Object Class: Keter

Laconic Containment Procedures: Foundation Personnel in the State of Tennessee cannot discuss the wives of former US presidents. Gun death data is to be stored in Foundation databases and is to be analyzed to detect SCP-2008 events.

Laconic Description: SCP-2008 is the ghost of President Andrew Jackson that kills anyone in Tennessee who insults his wife, creating wounds similar to a gun shot. Most victims work in or close to the history field. A firearm is usually found in the area, implicating suicide, however the firearm is usually not discharged.

Additional Context: It is not known truly how many individuals are victim of the SCP. The only survivor is a Morton Richards who after making forum posts on a historical reenactment website was attacked by the ghost and shot back at it, thus surviving.

A final audio recording from Dr. Lauren Strosser details her diagnoses of a terminal illness and purposefully triggers the anomaly, planning to duel it.
