Laconic Containment Procedures: Lock the item in a secure video storage bin, preferably with as much locks as possible, and if you're gonna play that thing, don't be reckless.
Laconic Description: SCP-1981 is a Betamax tape that shows Ronald Reagan delivering a speech, usually about terrifying and generally really spoopy topics, and/or predicting the future while he's cut up by invisible forces, eventually dying after being cut up one too many times. Rewinding the tape back to the beginning starts up a new speech, and new topics generally considered to be the stuff of pure nightmares.
Additional Notes: There's an entity that's inside that tape, it's been seen on almost every tape and apparently it can see us.
