Laconic Containment Procedures: Samples are kept in cryo-storage; anybody who wants to test with subjects infected by SCP-189 must wear hazmat suits and take chemical showers before and after. If anybody is infected, they are quarantined and have it removed, followed by all personnel on site being checked. Any subjects are incinerated upon their death.

Laconic Description: Parasites that plant themselves inside of people's scalps and camouflage as hair. They give birth and attach the new parasites to their host's head or infect another individual within their range. They tend to attack others seemingly at random.
