SCP-140

Item #: SCP-140

Object Class: Keter

Laconic Containment Procedures: Don't bring any writing fluids near it. Keep it in a guarded desk and destroy any reproductions. If someone becomes weirdly obsessed with it, wipe their memory and send them elsewhere.

Laconic Description: A book titled “A Chronicle of the Daevas." It details an ancient civilization of a human-like species called the Daevites; they were a gruesome militaristic people intent on conquering the world.

If the book comes in contact with any writing fluid, especially blood, more information appears and continues their history. Any information that appears becomes true and retroactively alters history to include new information. If given enough ink, SCP-140 could fundamentally alter the timeline as we know it.

SCP-140-A is the author and likely a Daevite.
