Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1025 is to be kept in a secure locker. Nobody is allowed to use it without permission from the O5 Council.

Description: SCP-1025 is a book called the Encyclopedia of Common Diseases. Anyone who reads from it is perceived by those around them to be suffering from one or more diseases. In reality, the book does not cause anybody to be infected with any disease. Those around the reader may become increasingly irrational and paranoid that the reader is contagious, rationalizing anything as evidence of this.

Additional Context: It is apparently based off a real book written by a staff member of the Prevention Magazine, Coltan Press.
