Item #: SCP-099
Laconic Containment Procedures: SCP-099 is to be held in gallery 27. It is only to be viewed by level 2 staff from 5 meters away and for less than 5 minutes.
Laconic Description: SCP-099 is a picture painted by René Magritte in 1935. The painting is of a table with a slice of ham on a plate. The ham has a single human eye, unblinking, in the center. When viewed for too long, or from a distance of 3 meters or less, SCP-099 causes the viewer to believe everything that has at least one eye on it is staring at them.
