Laconic Containment Procedures: No SCPs are to be assigned the number 048.

Laconic Description: SCP-048 is a phenomenon where any anomaly assigned to the number 048 tends to get destroyed, lost, decommissioned, or stolen. In addition, SCP-048 has had a turnover death rate of more than 50% through all of the SCPs assigned to it.

It's unknown if SCP-048 has anomalous properties or not. SCP-048 has been removed from the catalog to increase employee morale.
